I Love Grass and Sand!

Hello Friends!

Wow, what a busy week and a half it has been for me! Since being vaccinated, I have gotten much more freedom. Last week Mommy started taking me out more often so I have gone doodie outside most of the time. Mommy is very proud and I am very happy because each time I make doodie, I get a salmon treat! Yummy!!! During one of our evening walks last week, I met some friends and a girlfriend. I was there minding my own business when this sweet looking Shi-Tzu came and played with me. Her name is Molly and I love the highlights in her ears and tail. What a looker! Our Mommies took us to the park where we flirted and ran around (she played hard to get) and then we met two boxer hounds! They were so big that I was a bit startled but in the end it was okay. Their names were Echo and Ruby, very nice ladies. During my morning walks I have met Quincy, the ten year old Golden Lab. He is very chubby and has to wear a black muzzle. Mommy says it is because he might bite. He told me that people are afraid that he will bite but really, he just wants to kiss everyone. He is so misunderstand. I have also met the dogs that live next door, their names are Biggie (notorious!! "It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine!") and Kobe. I feel sorry for Kobe because he is named after the stupidest, whiniest basketball player alive....next to Vince Carter of course. However, this Kobe the dog is super nice and likes me. Biggie is angsty, he was friendly at first and then bit me in the head this morning. I brushed him off and walked on. It ain't no thang. So on Saturday, Mommy's uncle was visiting from Orange Juice County, Caliphoneia so we went up to Great Grandparents for a bbq. Yummy! I tried to steal some meat but of course Mommy kept her hawk's eye on me. Great Grampa keeps a wonderful garden so I romped around on the grass until I discovered the herb garden and all the newly laid soil on the mini brick wall. I kept running and running and digging and everyone laughed but Mommy scolded me for ruining the herb garden. That's when Mommy, Great-Auntie and Second Cousin Victoria took me to the park. There we ran around the soccer fields and I met Sly the Schnauzer. He has a respectable beard I think. On Sunday Mommy went to Niagrrrra Falls with Poppa, Auntie Aoife, and Uncle Ben. I was just relaxing on the porch with Mommy when all of a sudden this big boat came onto the street, Mommy says it is actually a car but I think it looks like the Titanic! Anyway, Poppa, Auntie Aoife and Uncle come running out of the car and they all insist on petting me! I was so frightened I started snapping at Uncle Ben and tried to run away. Now that I think of it I feel horrible but I really was scared. On Monday, Mommy and Poppa were gone again but when they came back they took me to the park where we played tag! Then Cops and Robbers. I kept running. I mean, people folk are so slow! Oh! They also went to IKEA (my favorite furniture store!!!) and bought me a tent!! It is shaped like a cat but I'm okay with that, I'm comfortable in my own fur. I put it to good use when Mommy took me to the beach yesterday! We met up with Auntie Hanny and her friend who brought her dog Chloe the Chihuahua! She is overweight and beautiful! I love her but she was playing hard to get. When we were there we saw Cousin Rufus!!! We were very happy to see each other but then he doodied on the boardwalk and grossed people out. Poor Mommy had to pick it up. Ewwwww. Anyway, I had a ton of fun there. I relaxed in the tent, dug a couple of holes, ate some carrots and treats then ran around in the sand. I was so tired that on the way back I slept on the TTC. Today Mommy had to go back to work after her five day Canada Day weekend. When she finished dinner we went to the park to play with Molly. I love her but she played hard to get again. That's okay, I saw the excitement when she saw me from across the street. Well, I'm rather sleepy so I hope you have a good night!
