Hello Everybody,
I'm sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time, it has been a rough and tough two months. Let me fill you in on what has been going on. Wait, before I start, just wanted to say salutations Ms. Go!!! Thank you for your loyal readership! So, since I've last blogged, Mommy has successfully potty trained me to make pee pee and doodie outside. Sometimes when I visit her friends and Poppa's apartment I leave them a puddle o' surprise on their rug though. I can't help myself and Mommy doesn't know what to do. She keeps saying "Hubie needs the snip like it's nobody's business" but I don't want a haircut!! Also, we when we were living with Grandma and Grandpa, Mommy would take me to the park every evening to play with Ruby, her sister, and Tequila. They are big dogs and I loved to stand up on my hind legs to kiss them on their faces. In mid August Mommy and I moved into a condo with Auntie Hannie. We are located now at Bay and Westie. It is a great location for Mommy because she can walk to work and come home at lunch to give me a pee pee break. We are across from a U of T campus so there is a lot of grass to play in. I love chasing squirrels there but Mommy always gets upset with me. Yesterday I rolled in doodie and Mommy made me have a shower. Man! After I worked so hard to smell like I should! I miss my girlfriends by Grandma and Grandpa's house but now I have a bunch of dogs my size to play with at the park. Poppa bought me a Chuck It Flying Squirrel frisbee and we played at the soccer fields several times. It's my favorite game, I try to get them to take me more often but Poppa says that there is too much traffic downtown and we need to find some bigger spaces to run. Anyway, I'm sorry this episode isn't all that exciting, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here! I'm settling into the condo and I love it. One of the desk officers in the lobby named Mike likes to feed me biscuits whenever I walk by. He has nice doggies too that I like to play with, their names are Baggy the Jack Russell (WHAT UP ED??) and Copper the Cocker Spaniel (WHAT UP ROSCO??). Poor Copper, he is incontentened (Mommy says something like that) and has to wear diapers all day long, not even the puppy kind because he is too big, he actually has to wear Pampers!!! Poor thing, Copper is seventeen years old!

So, let me fill you in on what has been going on with my health. It has been difficult because I kept getting Giardia and then finally developed my inmoon system (Mommy says) so it went away. But then I stopped eating and so Mommy thought I was being fussy, so she tried everything, soaking my kibble, giving me ground chicken (mmm!!!!) but then one day I just didn't want to get up, I was sooooo sneeeepy! Then I had soupy poopie!!! The next day Mommy took me to the vet ( I had soupy poopie all night long and woke Mommy up everytime to take me out, she was very proud that I did that!!). Anyway, Dr. Judy felt my chin and flipped out because it was so swollen. Mommy had to leave me and Dr. Judy and vet tech Toni sedated me, gave me some x-rays and blood test. Dr.Judy suspected that I had craniomandibular osteopathy. This means that the bone in my jaw was growing excessively. She called Mommy and gave her a scary prognosis. Mommy started to cry and cry. She came to get me and tried to be brave but I was sad because I felt that she was upset. I was also really tired from the sedative and couldn't walk for a few hours. The next day we had to go to the specialist at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic. Dr. Ringwood is a great specialist. Almost two weeks ago I had a bone biopsy done on my jaw to make sure that it is CMO and not cancer or something else. The results indicated that it is CMO but happily Dr.Ringwood said we can treat it with pills! Yummy! I get Greenies Pill Pockets!!!!! Hurray!!!! OH! and I get soft canned food. Hehehehehe!!! Stinky and dericious!!!! The downside was that I had to wear a stupid cone and couldn't play outside or with my toys for over a week!!! This Thursday I have to get my sutures out. Maybe Mommy will buy me a new toy! Last week we went to the pet boutique and I got to pick a toy! I chose a squeakly stuffed log! Well, Mommy hates my breeder, she had tried to contact her several times but of course she is ignoring her. Whatever, Mommy says, she expected it. So typical of breeders to not respond. Mommy spoke to a lady that lives in the next building who has a Havanese. The Havanese also had congenital problems and her breeder refused to respond to her emails and calls. She had to get her lawyer and the Kennel Club involved!!! There is a retriever in the building who has Addison's disease and the stinky breeder refuses to help as well! But she is asking for updates on him!!! Mommy just wanted Pauline to know about what happened to me and that it is painful so that she would stop breeding my parents. I hope my siblings aren't suffering like me. Mommy hopes that Pauline truly loves Westies and all dogs and that she isn't letting money driver her ambitions. That would be truly evil and conniving of her.
Well, I promise not to let this blog go so long again without an update. Happy reading and thank you!!
